He has been granted a BACHELOR OF ARTS WITH HONOURS and was presented with his degree by Sir John DANIEL, Vice Chancellor of the Open University. The presentation took place at Newcastle City Hall, and was attended by Dennis’s proud family that had travelled over from Ireland for the Ceremony.

Dennis Maloney BA Hons

Dennis who has settled in the north of England had to burn the midnight oil to get this degree and a list of the courses required to reach the objective of getting a degree in this case is quite exhaustive.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT
CULTURE AND BELIEF IN EUROPE
5th CENTURY ATHENS
DEMOCRACY and THE CITY STATE

Dennis said “It made a change from, Target indication, GPMG lesson one and Drill, but it shows what you can do if you put you mind in gear, I’m sure there are other ‘FARMERSBOYS’ out there who have moved on”

The ‘Farmersboys’ Website team offer Dennis our heartiest congratulations on this achievement, and wish him well on his next project a possible degree exercise in getting a degree in Military History, Watch this space.
