REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATION MEETING IN CANADA 2001

Ray POVEY the  ‘much loved’ Reading branch chairman recently went to Canada where he met a number of Ex ‘Farmers boys’ who have moved to, and settled down to life in Canada. The attached photo shows the rather overweight group after an Ad-hoc association meeting in Bill Williams back Garden.

Ray also met a good friend of the Regiment Lt Col Bernard NEHRING of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment . The ‘Farmersboys’ appear to be flourishing on the Canadian plains and send their regards to all their old comrades from the Regiment.
