Backbadge Racing News March 2003

On Saturday the 1st of March the Regiments Back Badge Motorcycle Racing Team attended the first practice day of the season at Kevel Airfield. (Photos Attached)  This meeting would give the Guest brothers Tom and Rupert the first chance to test the new engine in the Motorcycle Combination rig and the Sponsors Toby North and Stuart Nimmo to see the boys perform.  After some coughing and spluttering to get rid of the winter cobwebs from both rig and the riders the combination thrashed the course.  The Regimental Cap Badge was a blur as the boys pushed the rig to its limits, a great day out and confirmation for the boys that they are more than ready for the season ahead.  Evidence was there that the opposing teams on this years circuit will definitely see a lot of the back badge as the boys fly past leaving a lasting impression of the Regiment in their minds.  We will try to publish this seasons planned events so that as many of you as possible can come along  for a great day out and sponsor the Regiment and the Team.
