B Company Victorious

B Company not satisfied with winning the Hobb’s Cup and Nine’s Cup have re-asserted their dominance by winning the Duke of Edinburgh’s Competition, the Rawson Cup and lastly the Sphinx and Dragon Cup.The competitions ran from 7 to 11 Oct in STANTA. For the first three days, each multiple took part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Competition.

Freedom of Bristol

In the midst of the Battalion’s busy preparation for Northern Ireland, Saturday 12 Oct was set aside for the Regiment to receive the freedom of Bristol. After receiving the freedom from the Mayor of Bristol, the Battalion marched through the city before retiring to the town hall for some well-earned food and Freedom of Bristol Ale. It is hoped the march through the city will help maintain the Regiment’s profile while some if not all of Battalion have deployed to Northern Ireland until half way into next year.
